Terre des hommes/Arsis implemented a Filming Youth club project in three emergency reception sites in Northern Greece.
The objective was to enhance children’s creativity and ability to freely express themselves, in accordance with art.19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (right to freedom of opinion and expression).
More specifically, within the Filming Youth Club Project, refugee children attended seminars provided by cinematography specialists in pursuance of learning how to work collaboratively.
As well as of acquiring an understanding of the process of producing a film from the beginning to the end.
The final result constitutes a selection of material that was produced by the children themselves as an opportunity to put into practice the theoretical knowledge they had acquired.
For this project, a total of 67 children and youth both girls and boys from 9 to 20 years old participated.
